Cookies & privacy choices
A quiet website, with a real choice. Optional measurement stays off unless you decide to allow it.
Off until you choose
Optional usage and speed measurement does not load before an affirmative choice.
Listen either way
Refusing measurement does not block previews, artwork, navigation or policy access.
Change your mind
The Privacy choices link in every footer brings you back to the controls below.

What this policy covers
This policy describes cookies, browser storage and similar technologies used by the public LumenApexflow website operated by Lumenshore Limited. It also explains optional website measurement and your practical controls. The Privacy Policy covers personal information more broadly, including the app, account, purchases and support.
The current website has no account sign-in, web checkout, advertising network, session replay or embedded social-media feed. Visiting an external service or using the native app can involve different technologies and choices; a preference here does not control those independent services.
Cookies are only one kind of technology
A cookie is a small value a browser can store and send with later requests. Local storage keeps values for a particular site on your device until cleared or expired by the site’s logic. Session storage is generally limited to a browsing session. Page memory lasts only while that page is running. A browser cache can retain downloaded files so they do not need to be fetched again.
A script can read connection or device characteristics without setting a cookie. Describing analytics as “cookieless” does not automatically mean it is outside privacy law or cannot involve personal information. We separate technologies needed to fulfil your requests from optional measurement.
Your website privacy choices
Optional measurement is off by default. Choose “Only essential” to keep it off or “Allow measurement” to enable limited usage and performance reporting in this browser. Neither option affects free previews or app access. Return here using Privacy choices in the footer.
Saving a choice reloads this page to apply it cleanly and stop any measurement already running; an audio preview will stop. If your browser blocks preference storage, measurement stays off and we explain that the choice could not be saved. Without JavaScript, optional measurement does not load and the documents remain readable.
Optional measurement is off until your saved choice is checked.
Saving reloads this page and stops any playing preview. Your choice lasts 180 days.
What the website uses today
This inventory distinguishes application storage from requests required to deliver a page. Infrastructure responses can depend on the hosting service and request; they are not permission to introduce an advertising or optional measurement cookie without updating the notice and controls.
| Technology | Purpose and contents | Duration and control |
|---|---|---|
| apexflow-privacy-v1 — first-party local storage | Your allow/essential choice, preference-format version and time saved; no account or advertising ID | 180 days from saving; clear site storage or replace using the controls above |
| Preview-player page memory | Current track, position, volume and player state | Until reload/close; no persisted website listening profile |
| Browser HTTP cache | Artwork, fonts, page resources and requested audio, subject to browser and response settings | Managed by your browser; clear cached site data to remove copies |
| Vercel Web Analytics — optional script | Page usage reporting without an analytics cookie or cross-site advertising ID | Only with a current allow choice and no enabled privacy override |
| Vercel Speed Insights — optional script | Page loading and interaction performance reporting | Same optional choice and withdrawal controls as Web Analytics |
| Hosting, delivery and security requests | Requested pages/media and necessary connection/security information | Operational or security lifecycle; not disabled by refusing optional measurement |
What remains when measurement is off
The site still receives a network request to send a page or audio file. That request can expose an IP address, resource, browser information and connection timing to the delivery service. Necessary delivery and security processing is described in the Privacy Policy. “Only essential” does not mean visiting a website sends no information at all.
The preference record honours your requested choice. It is not an advertising identifier or account. Neither payment nor acceptance of optional measurement is a condition of opening a policy or playing a public preview.
Usage measurement and performance reporting
When allowed, Vercel Web Analytics reports page usage and referrals, and Speed Insights reports loading and interaction performance. Information can include page path, referral information, approximate region derived from the connection, browser, device category and performance timings. We use it to understand whether visitors can find and use the website and where it is slow.
Our integration removes query strings and fragments from the event page URL. It does not attach an Apexflow account, support message, private note or listening history. We do not use these reports to follow you across unrelated websites or target advertising. A hashed or short-lived technical identifier is not automatically anonymous in every legal context.
Refusal prevents these optional scripts from loading. Withdrawal prevents subsequent permitted events and reloads the page to remove the running integrations. It does not recall information already sent lawfully. Contact us about a rights request; an aggregate report cannot always be traced back to an individual visit.
Why we ask before optional measurement
We use an affirmative opt-in. Silence, scrolling, continuing to browse or accepting service terms does not turn measurement on. Refusal and acceptance are both straightforward, and the default does not depend on whether you buy Royal.
Storage/access rules, including UK PECR and applicable European rules, distinguish necessary and optional uses and can provide specific exceptions subject to conditions. We do not treat “cookieless” as a blanket exception. This site uses a conservative choice-based approach; the necessary preference record remembers the choice you request.
How your preference is remembered
The first-party key apexflow-privacy-v1 stores a format version, essential-only or allow choice, and saved-at timestamp in this browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us as an account-level consent profile. We do not claim to hold a separate server-side consent receipt for this choice.
A choice is valid for 180 days from saving. After expiry it cannot enable measurement, even if the old value remains physically stored until replaced or cleared. Missing, corrupted, unsupported or future-dated records default to off. A material change requiring fresh consent must not silently reuse an old permission.
Withdrawing or changing a choice
Return here and select Only essential. The page reload applies withdrawal and removes the running optional integrations. Clearing this site’s storage also removes an allow choice; the next visit starts with measurement off. Changes in another tab are checked so a stale tab does not keep permission indefinitely.
The preference belongs to this browser profile and site origin. Another browser, device, private window or www/non-www origin may not share it. Private browsing may discard it when the session ends. Native-app privacy settings are separate and are not changed here.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser exposes Global Privacy Control as enabled, or Do Not Track as “1”, this site keeps optional measurement off even if a saved preference allowed it. The controls explain that a browser signal takes precedence. We do not sell information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Not every browser exposes these signals, and their legal effect differs by jurisdiction. An unavailable signal is not consent: an affirmative website choice is still needed. A signal does not cancel subscriptions, delete earlier records or control an external site.
Browser controls and clearing site data
Browser privacy or site-data settings can remove local storage and cached resources, block scripts or limit storage. Look for settings for this website if you want to preserve unrelated sign-ins. Labels and capabilities differ by browser version.
Blocking scripts keeps measurement off but can prevent preview playback and policy search. Policy text and ordinary links remain available. Blocking required network resources can prevent artwork or audio loading; this differs from refusing optional measurement through our controls.
External links and the native app
App Store, subscription-management and sign-in-permission links lead to independent services with their own practices. We cannot set their preferences for you. Check the destination before providing credentials or purchase information.
The app uses operating-system storage for settings and playback. Payment, identity and purchase integrations are described in the Privacy Policy. A website choice does not disable these requested app services or consent to unrelated optional uses.
Personal information and questions
The Privacy Policy explains controller details, recipients, transfers, retention and request routes. Refusing measurement requires neither an account nor identity verification. Access to personal records may need proportionate verification to protect other people.
If a control fails, leave measurement off and tell us the page and browser involved. You can use browser site-data controls or email us for accessible help. Do not send passwords, full browser profiles or unrelated browsing history.
Changes and previous versions
Version 3.0, effective 26 September 2026, expands the information about Apexflow, its users’ rights and the responsibilities that accompany the service. It adds a direct email contact, fuller retention and request guidance, and an affirmative choice for optional website measurement. It does not introduce website sign-in, checkout, advertising or a new native-app data category.
We update the notice when the relevant service or legal requirements change and use additional notice or seek a fresh choice where required. A revised privacy notice is not permission to reuse previously collected information for an incompatible purpose. A summary or translation cannot remove a mandatory right.
